So I was checking my Deviant art inbox today and there was a journal entry by :icondoubleleggy: someone I happily watch and it kind of struck a nerve for me. I felt the need to pass the message along even to the limited number of people who see this journal and implore them to pass it along too.

Make a daisy chain of information!, anywho to get to the main subject of this journal. Popular internet site and youtube channel Collegehumor uploaded a video recently about net neutrality in their trademark crude comedy shtick.

One joke in particular was aimed at internet fan artists and the like basically just a cheap jab at 'em for laughs, that wouldn't be so bad but they've chosen to take art from DA user  :iconmrsakai:

and edited out his very prominent signature of the image. Adding onto this after he directly confronted them on the issue he has more or less been ignored by the guys at CollegeHumor.

For reference here is the image on the video.

,and this is the image in his gallery.

I don't know what else I can say except perhaps make a journal of your own and pass the word on? It might not change anything in the long run but at least the guy will get some of the views he deserves for not being credited here, It's the least random people on a site like this can do.

I really can't think of anything else to say here so I guess I'll just leave it at that.

Also I apologize if there is terrible grammar and what-not in this journal post I did not get much sleep last night.

It really is just shitty of them. They don't have a single artist on their entire team who can draw a catgirl? Or in the very least, commission someone to draw one for them? Even if they had a "reason" for this, like an oh-shit deadline to meet... It's just not right. You can't even ask permission or give credit? To be honest, I feel like they really are taking advantage of the fact that the artist is not from USA. Like they think they can't be legally sought after since it'd be time consuming and probably expensive on the artists behalf. Even shittier.
